
Our Story
Out Yeast Bread Co. was founded in Sweden with a small sourdough starter named Henrik. Danny created Henrik while studying abroad where his passion began. He brought Henrik home with him from Sweden back to East Hampton, NY. When COVID-19 took over, his passion for baking evolved and he began to get more and more creative in the kitchen.
He quickly found a rhythm with making all different forms of baked goods all from the same sourdough starter, our beloved, Henrik. His first paying client was a lady he met at the Post Office who was curious about the Out Yeast Bread Co. shirt he was wearing. She soon became a regular customer and Danny began donating his profits to charities that would benefit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Danny hand makes each loaf, bagel, baguette, croissant, etc. from scratch with love and precision.
